1.0 Introduction

Control Hub offers a holistic view of all your Webex services. Manage your services and users, provision devices, view detailed analytics and reporting, and configure security and compliance policies. All of this can help keep data safe and meet regulatory needs.

2.0 What you Need before Starting

·      pivot Admin account

·      Webex Control Hub Admin Account

3.0 Walkthrough

Acquire Organization Id– Webex Control Hub Admin Permission Required

You can go to https://admin.webex.com/account/info and get the Organization Id from there.

Acquire Workspace (Room) Display Name

You can go to https://admin.webex.com/workspaces to find out about workspace(Room) names that can be helpful to map rooms with pivot rooms

Setup pivot integration

1.     In the Integrations page on pivot you can find following card. By clicking connect you can start integration process.

2.     Clicking connect in previous step will popup an integration modal will appear on screen. Here you can provide you organization Id and proceed forward with integration process by clicking on “connect” button.

3.     You will be forwarded to Webex login page where you have to login with the Admin Account of your Webex organization. You will be redirected to login with your SSO Account after submitting your email address, if your company has that configured to do so.

4.     You will be prompted to accept following permissions to allow to pivot.

5.     After successful completion you will see following window.

6.     When integration is completed, Webex Control Hub Integration card in Integrations page will look like following.

7.     By clicking Manage button you will be redirected to Manage Webex Control Hub Mapping page where you can see Mapped and Unmapped.

8.     While mapping rooms you have to first map the Pivot Room to Webex Room and then by clicking manage button on Pivot Room card you can map individual Pivot devices to Webex Cisco RoomOS Devices in that Webex room.

9.     Here you can add or remove device mappings for selected room. After making modifications you can click save button which will save state locally. Please note, your Webex Cisco RoomOS Devices should already be uploaded into pivot to map the signals onto. If they have not yet been uploaded, please do so or reach out to your integrator to ensure they have been loaded into pivot for this step.

10. Once you have completed the changes for room you can click on save button in “Rooms To Map“ or “Mapped Rooms“ Tab to save the local state to take effect.

11. Congratulations, you have successfully mapped your Webex Cisco RoomOS Devices into pivot. It will take 5-10 minutes to appear in the Rooms view.
