Download PDF1.0 How it works
Our Crestron Processor uses an HTTPS PUT request to a secure AWS bucket where it will send a JSON file with certain data points we are receiving from the system. The AWS side will then handle this JSON file. We need the Crestron processor to be on a network where it can see the other components in the system and has outbound access to the AWS IPs.
2.0 What we need
- We request that a block of static IPs is allocated for our system OR MAC reservations.
- We will need a gateway access to the following IP ranges from the processor:
- 54.231.0.0/17
- 52.92.16.0/20
- 52.216.0.0/15
- This includes either a DNS server that can resolve Amazon’s domain or access to the Google DNS.
- HTTPS port 443 allowed outbound traffic from Crestron Processor to AWS S3.
- A list of Public IPs the devices are expected to be reporting from.
